Following the success of last year's 1940s weekend, the organisers are planning to repeat the event again this year.Over the weekend Friday 30th September through to Sunday 2wnd October the town will be transfered back in time.
Held in and around the town centre the event will feature singalong and swing singers, re-enactors, vintage vehicles military & Civilian, 1940s Variety Show, 1940s themed dinner, Blitz Ball , exhibitions, talks, displays and much more.
Organisers hope to involve as many organisations, individuals as possible. Anyone wishing to get involved are asked to get in touch.
